Michael Jackson Museum

The proposed Jackson Family Center, and the home of the Michael Jackson Museum, will not push out the Gary Lighthouse Charter School. Located near the South Gleason Golf Course, the school sits on the same area of land that was promised to the Jackson Family. According to city hall, the land agreement should have stipulated 25 acres instead of 30, leaving room for the charter school.

The Jackson Family Foundation is planning to build a $300 million museum and event center for the late Michael Jackson. The museum is planned for Gary, Indiana, the city where Michael was born and grew up before leaving to make his mark on the world.
