Michael Jackson Monument

On June 25th of 2010, the city of Gary, Indiana, unveiled a monument in honor of the late Michael Jackson. This 8 foot, 5,000 pound granite Michael Jackson monument will be sure to attract fans from across the world. The monument was actually a donation from a local company, and the value of the item is around $26,000.

On the back side of the monument are the words etched from the Michael Jackson song, “Gone Too Soon”. Michael actually wrote that song for Ryan White, an Indiana native who passed away from AIDS some time ago.
